This mural describes what I have said countless times. Maybe I am having an "inclusion" moment when I think in terms of "We". Almost like the old African saying "I am We". Most of the times I see Latino people and A.A. and Afro Caribbean people as belonging to the same damn family...like we are all cousins. So while we all may not have the EXACT same issues in the long run we are consistantly viewed as "the other" in this country. Which is the exact reason why I refuse to referr to myself as a minority.
